A French SME has developed an efficient new solution against rodents (rats, mice, squirrels, martens, weasels...). Some sites require particular vigilance to prevent the direct contamination or degradation of industrial products by rodents. These rodents can carry parasites and with them the accompanying risks of infections such as leptospirosis which represents a real danger for people working on these sites. The solution is an electronic system that emits a range of sound frequencies that can be used to permanently remove rodents from storage areas, industrial machinery, bushels of flour, flour mills, bakeries, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, warehouses with electrical cables, fiber optic cables...
This new technology uses a frequency sweep across a wide range of composite or continuous sounds and ultrasounds to prevent any communication between rodents and causes a strong pain in their sensory organs (ears, whiskers). In this way the animals lose all sense of security and equilibrium and are therefore forced to flee the area covered by the tones. The device is activated automatically and runs continuously once the staff have left the area.
The system must be placed near the path used by rodents. One device is sufficient to cover a storage area 100 m² depending on the nature of the building construction (concrete, metal beams ...). The unit operates on a 220V low consumption power supply. The combination of multiple devices allows a systematic removal of nests in the selected locations.
This chemical free solution can be used directly by companies with a rodent problem to solve urgently and could interest the SMEs involved in standard traditional chemical sanitation of rodents in order to market a new offer toward their clients.

Through it's use of ultrasounds technology, the solution provides a new and efficient way to quickly get rid of rats and other rodent familes from warehouses and other specific areas.
The new system creates a frequency sweep consisting of ultrasounds of a duration calculated to destabilize the nervous system, balance and hearing in different rodent families. Thanks to their mastery of signal processing and experience in applying it to practical uses, the French company's research laboratory has been able to optimize the system and has seen that once the unit is turned on there is a complete disappearance of rodents from the covered area within 24 hours. This product has been developed for a major agrofood industrial group. It is a technically proven solution since 2005.
