UK FP7 Space Information Day and Networking Event

On Friday 16 July the UK Space Agency is holding a UK FP7 Space Information Day and Networking Event at the 1 Victoria Street Conference Centre. The purpose of this newsletter is to give you details of the agenda and the likely content of the next FP7 Space Call.

 
The aim of the event is to provide information and assistance regarding the 2011 work programme for the Space theme and to offer the opportunity to network with other potential framework programme participants. The outline agenda for the day is:
 
  • "What's in it for me?" An indication of what the 2011 space work programme is likely to contain (the programme will formally be published on 31 July).
  •  "Why would I want to get involved?": Presentation by one or more previous successful UK participant in a space-related framework programme projects. 
  • “Who in the UK would be interested in collaborating with me?” A networking opportunity to identify potential UK partners.
  • "What's next?" Advice on how to find partners overseas.
 
The Information Day will start at 10.00am. The formal conclusion is planned for around 2.30pm, although there may be opportunity to stay on and network or receive advice. The event will include lunch, during which there will be further opportunities to network.
