About Us
South West Companies can benefit from a range of services offered by the Enterprise Europe Network, the exciting new pan-European network established by the European Commission.
An experienced team of 15 people, based around the region, will provide high quality advice and practical support to businesses throughout the South West in relation to Europe and the Single Market. We have excellent links in over 40 countries the whole of Europe and beyond EU borders, including China, Korea, Chile, Israel, Russia, Switzerland, Tunisia, Egypt...
Our services include:
- Advice and support in tackling the challenges of doing business in the Single Market, helping with EU regulations and issues, and introducing your business to relevant EU policies and programmes.
- Hands-on help with R&D and innovation challenges – identifying and solving difficulties with innovation, technology and related issues and opportunities.
- Guidance and support for firms wishing to understand the opportunities provided by EU funded programmes such as the R&D Framework, including help with the development of project ideas and proposals.
The Enterprise Europe Network has been created by integrating the services and expertise of the Innovation Relay Centre & European Information Centre Networks, which operated successfully for 12 and 20 years respectively. Drawing on the combined experience of the South West RDA, UK Trade & Investment, and GWE Business West and part funded by the European Commission, the network will be well represented in the South West. Enterprise Europe Network South West is also part of the UK government's Solutions for Business suite of products as a Business Collaboration Network.
